SCHOOL VISITS
The doors of the Ar-Rayan Mosque have always been open to students from local primary and secondary schools, inviting young students to discover this often unexplored yet fascinating place and the Islamic religion.
Our mission
Our aim is to bring our guests closer and introduce them to the identity of the Muslim world in a genuine and simple way , explaining both the universal values and concepts underlying Islam as well as the characteristics, history and presence of Islam in Trieste, in all its facets.
Interactive activities are planned for primary schools, and moments of more mature discussion for secondary schools .
Visit details
Tours take place in the main hall of the Al-Rayan Mosque and last an hour or an hour and a half. Appropriate and respectful attire is required.
A symbolic contribution of two euros per student is expected.
Visiting days and times must be agreed upon promptly with the contact persons.
Visits can be held in Italian, English, French and Arabic.
