OUR ACTIVITIES

As a cultural association, the organization offers a range of services to those interested, encouraging mutual understanding and exchange . For over 25 years, the organization has offered courses in Arabic and Islamic culture, open to all, regardless of faith. Each year, educational institutions from the city and region are invited to participate, offering insights into issues related to different faiths and current geopolitics. The association also conducts extensive external activities, hosting conferences and meetings, as well as providing consultancy services to graduate students and various collaborations with the University of Trieste.

In 2021, we signed an agreement with the University of Trieste to allow students to complete their curricular internships with us. To date, we have welcomed around ten interns.

The formal separation of the two associations, the Islamic Community and the Islamic Cultural Association, keeps their activities separate. Sometimes, however, the activities lack a clear distinction between the religious and non-religious dimensions, thus the two associations find themselves in an often inevitable entanglement between socio-cultural and religious aspects.
