The Islamic Cultural Association of Trieste has been offering for more than twenty years
language courses (Arabic and Italian) and Islamic culture for children, young people and adults.
The courses taught by native speakers are divided by level of knowledge (basic-intermediate-advanced) and age.
In a welcoming and warm environment, students will have the opportunity to broaden and deepen their linguistic, religious, cultural and intercultural knowledge in the name of respect and knowledge.
Curiosity, creativity and union are the key to school, a school where differences become strength and richness.

SCHOOL SPIRIT
Our School's enduring motto is "diversity is not an obstacle, but rather an enrichment." Almost all of the students in the various courses offered are of the Islamic faith and are of the so-called second generation (Italian by birth but with a wide variety of origins), while a small percentage arrive in Italy at a young age. In a world where they are different and feel different, within the School they discover their religious identity, learn to see their diversity with more conscious eyes, and transform shame and feelings of inadequacy into self-confidence and pride.
As a place of participation and gathering, the School aims to safeguard and promote an inclusive, healthy, and productive physical and emotional space, balancing the seriousness of didactic learning with the lightheartedness of play and recreation.
