Eight boys and girls arrived accompanied by 13 survivors from their families from Gaza to Trieste to be treated: four children are amputees and will receive prostheses that will be made in Emilia Romagna, two need a bone marrow transplant, one child has an explosion wound and one has a serious surgical pathology. The children were joined by a young woman, mother of one of them, who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl a few days after arrival.
They need our support.
The Burlo Garofolo Foundation has started a fundraiser for the prostheses that will have to be purchased, while the Islamic Community has been charged with finding resources (food, basic necessities, transportation, phone top-ups, ...) to support the children and their families. You can support the initiative by making a bank transfer or by leaving a donation to the representatives of the Islamic Cultural Association of Trieste .
